How to Host a Coaching Course.

PROCEDURE TO HOST A "Basics of Cricket" COURSE
This course can be held in smallest space like class room, meeting room, Hallway etc. as course does not required playing field and game space. Indoor Gym or out door field (with youth players involved to learn skills) will help to get the most out of this course. Can be done during school, after school at the club, on field during practices, during Games at the tournaments and much more. Indoor Playing Space is required in case of inclement weather & during winter.

Host Duties
  • Select a site.
  • Select a person to act as the host for the course to liaise with Indiana Cricket, Coaching Director & Course Instructor(s).
  • Email your request to indianacricket@gmail.com with three (3) possible dates with timings in order for easier assigning of an instructor.
  • The application/request must be submitted as early as possible to confirm schedule date and time
  • Host is responsible for all rental fees and other related expenses to host this course.
  • Indiana Youth Cricket will provide "FREE" Course material & training equipments.
  • PROCEDURE TO HOST A "Advanced Cricket" COURSE
    This course required playing field (at least 30 X 30 yeards) and game space. Indoor Gym or out door field (with or with out youth players involved to learn skills) is suitable to get the most out of this course. Course Can be done during school, after school at the club, on field during practices, during Games at the tournaments and much more. Indoor Playing Space is required in case of inclement weather & during winter.

  • PROCEDURE TO HOST A "Introduction to Cricket" Educational Clinic/camp
    This is for Elementary, Middle & High schools only. It can be held in smallest space like class room, meeting room, Hallway etc. as it does not required playing field and game space. Indoor Gym or out door field (with youth students/players involved to learn skills) will help to get the most out of this camp/clinic. It may be during school or after scholat the campus, club, on field during practices, during Games at the tournaments and much more. Indoor Playing Space is required in case of inclement weather & during winter.

  • Host can combine this event with "Basics of Cricket" - with event duration at least 2 hours.
  • Indiana Youth Cricket will provide "FREE" USYCA cricket kit, Course material & training equipments.
  • Teachers who attend this event will be eligible to receive "Basics of Cricket" certificate.
  • In school event will help/benefit PE, History & Social Study teacher(s).
