  • Fundamentals of Coaching
  • On Line NFHS
    Fundamentals of Coaching has been developed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and provides a unique student-centered curriculum for interscholastic teacher/coaches, assisting them in creating a healthy and age-appropriate athletic experience that supports the educational mission of our nation's schools. This course presents content that all coaches should know and be able to do.

  • First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches
  • On Line NFHS
    This course has been designed to give you an overview of first aid, as well as the best practices for many first aid situations that you may face as a coach. It’s important to note that the skills taught in this course do not replace professional medical help, but does offer guidelines and techniques for temporary assistance until more advanced medical help arrives.

  • On Line NCSS
    Course participants learn to PREPARE an acronym that represents each of the targeted emphasis areas of the course:
  • P — Pre-plan, in case of emergencies;
  • R — Recognize emergencies;
  • E — Emergency Plan (pinpoint the steps needed to be taken once an emergency has occurred);
  • P — Principles of First Aid (learn the basic first aid techniques every coach should know);
  • A — ABCs (become familiar with airway breathing and circulation — the basic steps of CPR);
  • R — Return to Play (determine when it is safe for an injured athlete to return to play); and
  • E — Enjoy (encourage young athletes to get back into the game).

  • ADVANCED CRICKET On Line & On Field Details
    Attend Camp Field session(s) to learn Advance coaching techniques
    Complete Online reading before and after Field Session(s)
    Must attend one Inter School or scrimmage game (90 minutes max.) complete On line Test and must be able to demonstrate skills during field session(s)
    Must have "Basics of Cricket" completed to attend

    BASICS OF CRICKET UMPIRING On Line & On Field Details
    Attend Camp / Clinic / Field session to learn Basics & Signals
    Complete Online reading before and after Camp / Clinic/ Field Session learn Cricket Rules
    complete On line reading for Game Procedure and onfield game management
    Must pass written test and on field Assesment during practice game

    * You need to complete "Sport-Specific Courses for Cricket Course" only
    If you are a Indiana Licensed PE Teacher with 3 or more years of experience
    If you are a NFHS / IHSAA Licensed / Certified (3+ years) coach in Any Other (NFHS) Sport.
    If you are NFHS Accredited Interscholastic Coach
    If you are a Athletic Director with 3 or more years of experience
    If you are a Indiana State Licensed Athletic Trainer

    If you are a senior student & plan to become Indiana Licensed PE teacher or working as a Intern or substitute teacher, Please contact Indiana Cricket for the waiver / Approval. Check Course details

    If you have Cricket Playing Experience (Includes non teachers) you need to take refresher coaching class / attend camp or clinic only. Please contact Indiana Cricket for the waiver / Approval. Check Course details
